Hvitserkur is a basalt stack that protrudes out of the sea in the western part of the Huna Bay. The sea erosion has carved holes through its foundations and sculptured it in the shape of a petrified monster.
A few bird species, especially shag, occupy the precipice as can be seen by the guano. According to folklore this 15m rock was a troll turned to stone by the sun.
