HOUSE OF VOSTROVSKA
presents
FRAGMENTED MEMORIES

April 4th– April 28th 2013
Private view Thursday 4th April 6pm-9pm
Opening times - Wednesday to Sunday, 12 to 6pm

House of Vostrovska presents Fragmented Memories a new show featuring paintings from Glasgow-based artist Nadège Druzkowski. Following her show at the gallery last November, the artist will unveil a selection of artworks reflecting her most recent travels throughout Scotland, Finland and the French Alps. Investigating concepts of time, memory and absence, she is particularly interested in how memories blur the line between past and present. Time and space cease being one single reality. It transforms into fiction.

Ivča Vostrovska is the founder of House of Vostrovska. Trained as a jewellery artist in Dublin, Prague, and Stockholm, Ivča’s work embodies the ancient Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi which seeks to find beauty in decay, a raw kind of beauty. Her work is on permanent display in the gallery, along with a selection of hand-picked artists from around the world. www.ivcavostrovska.com
